We have a great variety of classes to suit everyone
Membership makes the most sense where practitioners can attend any or all classes but six weekly sessions are also available and people are encouraged to drop in to get a taste of yoga at the studio.

The Art of Vinyasa - a Jivamukti Yoga class with Sibylle Dallmann - Ireland`s first fully qualified Jivamukti yoga teacher. After trying her first Jivamukti yoga class in 2007 Sibylle became hooked to this creative and challenging approach to yoga. She studied directly under David Life and Sharon Gannon in New York and received her certification in May 2009. 

Transform your practice and reach new heights with this challenging and transformational two hour yoga class on Friday 24th Sept. 7-9pm £20 ( Studio members 10% discount ).

You will practice creatively sequenced asanas and discover how the integration of breath and intention can infuse your practice with depth and purpose. Find deep nurturing through mantras, meditation and relaxation. Be prepared to laugh, bend and deeply connect!

How much does a class cost?

Morning classes drop in - £7 each or £36 for 6 classes.

Evening classes drop in - £8 each or £42 for 6 classes.

*Monthly Unlimited - monthly membership @ £40 per month payable by direct debit/ cash/ cheque to include all classes at the studio. ( runs from the 1st of any given month. )

New YTTC Level One Teacher Training Diploma CourseThe Course follows the Yoga Alliance syllabus and the BCYT training standards and specifications utilising the most contemporary methods and practice, while keeping close to the Classical structures set down in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The course comprises 250 hours. the course duration is 26 days within a period of 15 months. There are no special entry requirements although it it expected that students will have attended Yoga classes on a regular basis for a minimum of one year. Yoga, Ayurveda & Pranayama workshop with Dr Umesh Vijayam       

Umesh, one of the most highly experienced practitioners in his field, is dedicated to providing genuine and traditional Ayurveda treatments. Trained in Southern Kerala he is now resident in N. Ireland.

In this one day workshop you will explore Kapalabhati breathing, which acts as a natural detox for the body, while helping to expel stale air from the body. This will be followed by asana practice in the Sivananda tradition, which Umesh studied under the supervision of a dedicated Guru .

The afternoon will entail an introduction to Ayurveda therapies (which means knowledge of life) and an examination of the role and function of the Chakras. A further asana practice will be followed by deep relaxation bringing balance and an inner sense of well being.

The Art of Slowing Down with Siobhan Lincoln

This one day workshop is designed to explore advanced yoga postures such as Parivrtta Trikonasana / Reverse Triangle in a way that you will not have considered before. It will change the way you think about function and movement and will likely change the way you practice yoga.

During the workshop students will develop more awareness and understanding of their own bodies, explore new ways of opening and stabilising different parts of the body and discover an overall sense of ease and groundedness in poses.

Pranayama one year Foundation Course with Philip Xerri

A one year course comprising 6 full days tuition, structured home practice, study and personal supervision.

The course will examine the fundamental techniques of Pranayama practice following the systems taught by Dr. Swami Gitananda and drawing on over 30 years of Philips personal practice and study.

It offers an in - depth, logical, tightly structured, practical and theoretical appreciation of Pranayama from it`s beginnings (founded in the Mahat Yoga Pranayama) to it`s classical expression as found in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. The structure runs through 5 phases of practice: FOUNDATIONS - DEVELOPMENTAL - ALIGNMENT - PURIFICATION - CLASSICAL - all of which will be covered on the course.

Philip has been teaching yoga and pranayama since1981, his expertise in this field is second to none. Originally trained with Swami Gitananda in Pondicherry his focus has always been Pranayama which he sees as the energetic and contemplative heart of Yoga.

Cost: £595 ( if booked before the end of August 2010) otherwise £650

YTTC Yoga for Kids Diploma Course

The YTTC Yoga for Kids Teacher Training Course is designed for qualified yoga teachers. It gives  insightful, creative and practical training to safely and effectively lead successful yoga classes for children aged 3-12 yrs.

The course is designed to help customise your knowledge to promote a sense of well being on all levels and engage children on their own level in a fun and friendly environment.

The training teaches how to use yoga to build a childs confidence, self-esteem and help them to discover their sense of expression and self-worth. During the course you will experience a yoga class for 3-7 and 8-12 yr olds, develop and have the opportunity to participate in teaching a class designed for these age groups.

Cost: £495 ( Deposit £195 + 2 x £150  payments )

YTTC Yoga for Pregnancy Diploma Course
…….from micro movements to the free flow with Nicole Henkel-Murphy

The fundamental aims of yoga are increasing flexibility and mobility while decreasing tension and stress. These are perfectly compatible with the needs of mothers-to-be and their babies. Learn how to make your class suitable for pregnant students with specially chosen asanas and modifications. Learn essential birth-breathing and relaxation techniques. Guidance on how to prepare the mum-to-be during pregnancy, labour and birth giving with yoga movements.

This intensive course is designed for qualified Yoga teachers.
