New Level One Yoga Teacher Training Course

The course follows the Yoga Alliance syllabus and BCYT training standards and specifications utilising the most contemporary methods and practice, while keeping close to the Classical structures set down in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The course comprises 250 hours. The course duration is 30 days within a period of 2 years. There are no special entry requirements although it is expected that students will have attended Yoga classes on a regular basis for a minimum of two years. Contact Jennifer in the office.

Chair Yoga with Roy Griffin & Robert Campbell

The appeal for chair yoga is really broadening. We have had teachers and students attend who are involved with community groups, actively retired, old folks homes, wheel chair bound and companies. Chair yoga opens the way for people to experience the benefits of yoga in an accessible way. The workshop covers asana, pranayama, relaxation and session planning.

Chakra Workshop with Michael Mc Cann

Michael is one of the leading yogis of subtle anatomy, meditation and philosophy in Ireland. He offers an understanding of the ancient philosophy of the chakras with subtle techniques to explore the chakras. Part of the day will be on seeing the chakras through the eyes of modern living. This workshop is a good taster day for people interested in attending the Level Two Teacher Training Course.

The course is a balance of posture work, subtle anatomy with the emphasis on the chakras. It is ultimately for the student’s self-development, it is not assessment-orientated. The course duration is 10 days within a period of 1 year.

The Five Koshas workshop with Roy Griffin

We will go through the Koshas[sheaths} in a yoga session, and then break them down into simple exercises so students can experience the different sheaths individually. Then we will look at building a yoga session around the Koshas and how to experience them as a living experience.
