Yoga Meditation Foundation Course with Roy Griffin The yoga meditation foundation course introduces the fundamental basics of yoga meditation, it is suitable for anyone who would like to experience a grounding in the basics of meditation. The focus of the course will be underpinned by wisdom teachings and practices and will draw upon insight meditation and mindfulness.
The course is run over one day from 10.00am - 4.00pm covering:
What is meditation, preparation for meditation
Breathing practice, developing concentration, mindfulness
Insight meditation, the mind and consciousness
Establishing daily practice

YTTC Level One Yoga Teacher Training Course Next Course Spring 2012 Venue: Lotus Yoga Centre, 15 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2 The course follows the Yoga Alliance syllabus and BCYT training standards and specifications utilising the most contemporary methods and practice, while keeping close to the Classical structures set down in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The course comprises 250 hours, 180 of which are Tutor Contact hours; Home Assignments cover the remaining 70 hours. The course duration is 15 weekends within a period of 17 months. There are no special entry requirements although it is expected that students will have attended Yoga classes on a regular basis or have completed the “Yoga Foundation Course” course.

YTTC Level Two Yoga Teacher Training Course Next Course Autumn 2012 Venue: Lotus Yoga Centre, 15 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2 This 2nd Level Course dove-tails into the Level One Diploma Course; picking up the topics introduced on the Level One Course and expanding on them. It is aimed at already qualified teachers who want to deepen their knowledge of the ancient art of yoga. The course is wide ranging and experiential and includes a variety of asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas and other practices which provide a rich source of knowledge for yoga teachers.
