YTTC Yoga Teacher Training

Because Yoga is now widely known for its benefits, it is fast being introduced into the work place and the educational curriculum. This increases the demand for more properly qualified teachers.

The Yoga Teacher Training Diploma Levels One and Two (externally accredited) have been accepted and delivered at the Institute of Further and Higher Education, Newry which is linked to the University of Ulster at Jordanstown, NI. To date more than 500 students have been awarded the teaching diploma.

Equally if you simply wish to maintain and improve your individual skills or learn more about the entire concept of yoga, either of the first two courses are entirely suitable.

This course introduces the student to the background and practice of yoga. It bridges the gap between general yoga classes and the Teacher Training course.

Internationally recognised school of Yoga :Providing excellence in Yoga training

Duration: 250 hours within two years

Criteria: One or two years yoga practice

Benefits: More understanding of the history and philosophy of yoga.

Career opportunities for all ages plus some pupils use it as a platform to study yoga in an ashram or specialised school abroad or progression to the next level.

The training covers classical and contemporary methods in keeping with the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

This course is designed for students who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of yoga in order to offer intermediate level training and classes to pupils.

Duration: 10 months Criteria: Level One Diploma Achieved Benefits: Understanding of the subject and wider career development.
